Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is an American pop punk band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, bassist Pete Wentz, and drummer Andy Hurley. Known for their catchy melodies and emotionally charged lyrics, Fall Out Boy rose to prominence in the mid-2000s with hits like “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” and “Dance, Dance.” Their music blends elements of rock, punk, and pop, often characterized by clever wordplay and themes of love, heartbreak, and personal struggle. The band went on hiatus in 2009 but reunited in 2013, continuing to release new music and tour internationally, solidifying their place in the pop-punk and alternative rock scenes.
